What to Expect at Little Language
Starting speech therapy can come with a lot of questions. At Little Language, we keep the process simple, supportive, and centered around your child so you know what to expect every step of the way.
THE PROCESS
From first conversation to ongoing support.

Reach Out
Contact Little Language to tell us a little about your child and what you’ve been noticing. We’ll answer your initial questions and help determine the most appropriate next step.

Evaluation
When appropriate, your child will participate in a speech and language evaluation. This may include parent interview, play-based observation, language sampling, and standardized assessment when appropriate.

Recommendations & Plan
We’ll review the findings together, discuss your child’s strengths and areas for support, and create individualized recommendations and therapy goals.

Therapy Begins
Sessions are play-based, child-led, and tailored to your child’s communication needs, interests, and strengths.

Ongoing Support
As therapy continues, we’ll monitor progress, adjust goals when needed, and share practical strategies that can support communication in everyday routines.
PAYMENT & INSURANCE
Private-pay, with documentation available for reimbursement.
Little Language is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of service.
Upon request, we can provide a superbill that families may submit to their insurance provider for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Coverage and reimbursement vary by insurance plan. Families are encouraged to contact their insurance provider directly to confirm out-of-network benefits and reimbursement requirements.
